My illustrations are inspired by life, capturing the joy and humor amidst the challenges of our changing climate, unpredictable weather patterns, and natural disasters. They embody a fun art style while inviting reflection on our relationship with the world.

About Julia

Julia Weston, is an illustrator, textile designer, and educator based in Melbourne. Her portfolio includes illustrations featured in esteemed magazines, newspapers, and publishers across the globe. Notable publications include BBC Good Food, Prima, Country Living, Wine, Cambridge University Press, and Brolly Books. Julia embarked on her career journey in 1991, following her graduation with a BA in Illustration from Bristol University. Subsequently, she ventured to Tokyo in 1996, where she was represented by Grade One and Asterisk Illustration Agencies. During her time there, she notably served as the cover artist for NOVA CITY and contributed a monthly cartoon titled "ABC Bridge" for the Nagasaki newspaper.
